more about our 25th Anniversary

I am trying to update my blog weekly and of I have so many fun pictures from our 25th anniversary I thought I would share some more with you.

I want to give a special thanks to my kids and grand kids who went out of their way to make sure we ALL had some really great meals, sometimes and most times they were cooking for 34 people. To our head chef Brock, thanks so much for all the hard work and special meals you prepared. From your tri-tip to fresh peach pie, black and blue berry cobbler, stuffed french toast and many more.

To Tami for making her famous chicken enchiladas and helping me prepare the tri-tip, that was a lot of work, and lots of garlic to peal. To Brigit for teaching me how to make her wonderful scones, to Amber for always being there to help us clean up after we made all this food.

I have to say having this huge kitchen sure made it fun to visit and cook together.

I had lots of fun making food with the grand kids as well. We made scones together, Brianna, Colten and Mackenzie helped a lot and now Brianna can help Nani make them again. We also made Butterfly cupcakes out of chocolate. I think everyone made one of those, at least it seemed like it......Very fun....... Thanks Mack for bringing your cook books.

And another special thanks to Mikaila, Amanda, and Mack for the cute show they put on for us.
GREAT JOB... Love to watch your cheer leading.

Our 25th Anniversary

Kim and I just got home from celebrating our 25th anniversary with our family. We were lucky enough to have ALL of our children with us, something we have not had in 10 years, you can imagine the changes in all of us, not to mention the additions we have added to our family since then. We want to thank all of you who made the extra effort to get here, and pray it doesn't take that long again to get you all together.

Brock and Brigit's Temple Wedding

Kim and I were lucky enough to be part of Brock and Brigit Temple Sealing. How happy we are to know they will be together for time and all eternity.

Paige and Colten were so cute and excited to go to the temple

The newest member of our family JAKE

Kim talked me into getting a new puppy, and I have to admit he has stolen my heart. He weighs about 20 lbs, and we have no idea for sure what kind of dog he is. But he is the cutest little guy, and everyone just loves him. Kim and him are pretty cute sleeping in the chair together.

Kim and I had a dinner party with some friends for Valentine's this year. What a wonderful time we had, it is good to have friends, we really should do this more often.

Jason and Tesa had lot of fun making this igloo on the deck of their house

I am still learning to post on this and of course some of these may not be in the order I want them in. But for now I will do the best I can so everyone can see pictures of what is going on in our little world.

Happy New Year to all our family and friends. I wanted to first post some of the wonderful snowfall we got just before Christmas. Here in WA we are not used to snow lasting more than a couple of days. This one lasted almost 10.

My bird bath in our back yard. I think we got about 16 inches

We had some of our grand children over to have a sleepover, make ornaments, and candy. How we wish they all could have been there.
